Weed Working Group

About Our Group

Formed in 2005, the BHWC Weed Working Group is a sub-committee of the Big Hole Watershed Committee, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our group consists of landowners from every community along the 155 miles of the Big Hole River. Representatives from local, state, and federal government agencies serve as our technical advisors.

To cover operation costs, we hold an annual fundraiser - the Weed Whackers Ball - which takes place on the second Saturday of September. However, we can't stress enough the need for private donations to continue this important work.

If you agree with our mission to control noxious weeds in the Big Hole River watershed while maintaining the integrity of the river and environment, please consider making a donation today.
