Mission
The mission of the Big Hole Watershed Committee Weed Working Group is to provide landowners and users of the Big Hole watershed with support--through education and financial means--to control noxious weeds while maintaining the integrity of the river and environment.

Weed Information
As of 2008, it was estimated that noxious weeds cover 7.6 million acres in Montana, causing an enormous threat to our economy and environment.
In the Big Hole watershed, there are several Weeds of Concern which are known to be present in the area or on our Weed Watch List in an effort to keep them from becoming a problem in the watershed and surrounding communities.
Weeds of Concern include:
- Canada Thistle
- Spotted Knapweed
- Leafy Spurge
- Dalmatian Toadflax
- Yellow Toadflax
- Common Tansy
- Oxeye Daisy
- Hounds tongue
- Hoary Alyssum
- Tall Buttercup
Weed Watch List includes:
- Blueweed
- Rush Skeleton weed
- St. Johnswort
