The BHWC June 2016 meeting topic was the Pintler Face Integrated Restoration project and included information regarding commercial harvest of lodgepole pine, reduction of Douglas fir stand density, reduction of conifer encroachment in sage brush and riparian habitats, and potential modification to travel management plans.

We enjoyed presentations from Russ Riebe and Pam Fletcher, United States Forest Service – Beaverhead Deer Lodge National Forest.

Our meeting minutes provide a summary of the information and discussion that followed.
