BHWC’s April monthly meeting was held Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at the Divide Grange Hall. It was also available via Zoom thanks to a partnership with Southern Montana Telephone Company, who donates WiFi for the Grange Hall. Our meetings are always open to the public and include refreshments and time for discussion. Coffee for our monthly meetings is donated by Black Coffee Roasting Company in Missoula.
The meeting included committee updates, project reports, and more. We were joined by local weeds coordinators, Amber Burch, Beaverhead County; John Moodry, Butte-Silver Bow County, Michael Mooney, BLM-Dillon; and Jan Bowey, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. They told us all about plans and priorities for treating invasive weeds in the Big Hole, species of concern, upcoming volunteer spray days, and more.
