Effective Wednesday, September 25, 2019, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has lifted the fishing closure on Big Hole River Section I (Saginaw Bridge on Skinner Meadows Rd to North Fork Big Hole River) in accordance with the Big Hole River Drought Management Plan. All Big Hole River sections are now open to fishing; flows in all sections currently exceed conservation targets as identified in the drought plan.
