BHWC met May 15th, 2024 at the Divide Grange Hall. The meeting was also available via Zoom thanks to a partnership with Southern Montana Telephone Company, who donates WiFi for the Grange Hall. Our monthly meetings are always open to the public and include refreshments and time for discussion. Coffee for our monthly meetings is donated by Black Coffee Roasting Company in Missoula.
We were joined by Jim Keenan, Butte-Silver Bow County Superintendent of Water Treatment, who gave an overview of Butte’s water delivery systems and upcoming projects. Our main presenter, however, was Jim Olsen, Fisheries Biologist with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, who gave an update on the Big Hole River fishery.
