Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has reopened Big Hole River Section 4, MFWP Maidenrock FAS to Tony Schoonen FAS, to fishing effective Wednesday, September 28th. This section has reached reopening criteria as designated in the Big Hole River Drought Management Plan.
Section 3 is also open to fishing. Sections 1, 2, and 5 remain closed to fishing until flows improve.
