BHWC’s September monthly meeting included an important discussion on a proposed Drought Management Plan update and a presentation on Sage Grouse.
Vanna Boccadori, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Biologist, discussed the current status of sage grouse and provided updates on sage grouse lek counts and studies. Vanna also provided an update on the grizzly bear recently confirmed in the Big Hole watershed and a refresher on how to tell grizzly bears from black bears.
