Moose Creek Volunteer Day
Join the Big Hole Watershed Committee and Sage Steppe Conservation for a hands-on volunteer day at Moose Creek on July 7, 2026. This is a great opportunity to spend a day outdoors while helping improve stream health, support beaver habitat, and protect important infrastructure in the Moose Creek watershed.
Beavers play an important role in creating healthy streams and wetlands, but their activity can sometimes impact roads, culverts, and other infrastructure. During this volunteer day, participants will help install and maintain simple, practical solutions that allow beavers and people to coexist while preserving the natural benefits beavers provide to the landscape.
No previous experience is necessary. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome, and project staff will provide guidance throughout the day.
