BHWC met March 18th, 2026 at the Divide Grange Hall. The meeting was also available via Zoom thanks to a partnership with Southern Montana Telephone Company, who donates WiFi for the Grange Hall.
We were joined by three members of the Upper Big Hole Arctic Grayling CCAA Team: Katelin Killoy, FWP; Luke Lutz, DRNC; and Garrett Vasa, NRCS, who gave us an update on how the CCAA is faring after 15+ years in existence – and what comes next. The CCAA is managed by a dedicated group of scientists that monitor river flow and temperature in the upper Big Hole and work with landowners to conserve water and habitat to improve conditions for Arctic grayling in accordance with site specific plans.
