Effective August 23rd, Big Hole River Section 4: FWP Maidenrock FAS to Tony Schoonen (previously Notch Bottom) FAS, is closed to fishing due to low flows. The closure is in accordance with the Big Hole River Drought Management Plan.

Sections 1 and 5 are also closed to fishing. Section 2 is under Hoot Owl Restrictions, which means no fishing after 2:00 PM.
